Ready to savor life and enjoy fine cuisine? Make a date for Sat., June 25: Summertime Livin’ Easy Arty Party, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fleur de Lee Restaurant, 1143 Rushmeade Road, Jackson.

Outside, Artisan Trail members will have artworks for sale: pottery, jewelry, paintings, sculptures, photography, metalcrafts, woodturning and more. Inside, enjoy “Tales, Tunes, Talent and Cocktails” 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Regional authors will share stories at 30 minute intervals, leading with Harbert Alexander Sr., “Soldiers, Saints & Sinners,” 12:30 p.m. Jocelyn Wurzburg, “Jocie’s Stories,” 1 p.m. Paula Casey, “The Perfect 36,” 1:30 p.m. Jennifer Rawls, “The Vote,” 2 p.m. Character actress and theater director Becky Fly, 2:30 p.m.; Jackson Theatre Guild, songs from “Guys and Dolls,” 3 p.m. Jazz music, 3:30 p.m. Renowned author Dr. Niles Reddick  4 to 5 p.m. telling tales from his latest book, “Drifting Too Far From the Shore.”

Thurs. July 14: Summer Celebration. West TN Research & Education Center. U. S. Highway 70 (Airways Boulevard), west of U. S. Highway 45 Bypass in Jackson, TN. 44 exhibitors. West Tennessee Artisan Trail members will show and sell fine art. Garden Talks, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Master Gardeners’ Plant Sale, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and more. July 23: Toast of Jackson, Jackson Fairgrounds, 800 South Highland Ave., Jackson, TN. 1 to 6 p.m. A fine wine and art festival, a celebration of local and regional wineries including a wide selection of artisans and regional craftspeople. West Tennessee Artisan Trail members will show and sell fine art. Food from Redbones Grill & Bar. Free wine and food seminars by Tammy Algood, a leading expert. At this festival each winery offers complimentary one – ounce samples of their wines, as well as wine for sale by the bottle or the case. Toast of Jackson is sanctioned by the Tennessee Farm Growers Association and the Pick Tennessee Products a division of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. Sat., Oct. 1: International Food and Art Festival, downtown Jackson. . The West TN Artisan Trail’s “Food as Art” contest is set for Oct. 1 at the International Food & Art Festival in downtown Jackson. Deadline to enter: Sept. 12.
